A regular in the KL singer-songwriter circuit for the past 7 years, Reza Salleh's brand of heart-in-blender folk has elements of grunge, jazz, pop rock and the blues. Having built a reputation in the independent scene as part of the rising wave of young singer-songwriters to grace the local stage, Reza is now a permanent feature at every single acoustic show in town. Backed by a three-piece band compromising Melina William, Nor Hanafi Noor Hadi and Stephanie Chan the start of 2007 saw Reza release his single “Smokecity”.  While on regular rotation on the airwaves the song stayed at the #1 spot for 5 weeks straight.
