Born out of frustration with the local club scene which only caters to the generic dance genres and hip-hop, the Twilight Actiongirl gang initiated indie DJ nights in late 2003 as an outlet for themselves and like-minded friends to gather and have some unpretentious fun, promoted strictly via DIY style, self-made, photocopied flyers and word-of-mouth buzz. With a broad music policy which covers everything from electro-punk-rock&roll-disco, indie guitar, Britpop to garage rock to ska to classic soul to leftfield electro and all points in-between, Twilight Actiongirl's main agenda is to open people's minds and ears to new and vintage classic tunes which the general masses have overlooked.
