Born a Malaysian, and raised an Australian, spunky, assertive and passionate Che'nelle is as musically influenced as her mix parentage. She relishes country music but breathes R&B; she is a student of dancehall but has a degree in pop. A true genre-buster.  Her debut album 'Things Happen for a Reason' is every bit as motley as her lineage, personality, musical taste and upbringing. First discovered by her now manager – radio veteran and club DJ Sir Charles Dixon on MySpace; lead to a meeting with the chairman of Virgin Records. Impressed by the multi-talented songstress' wow factor, the meeting made way for the release of her debut album with Capitol Records, a musical collaboration with the who's who of the music industry.
